AMD Phenom II Sets 3D Record

Nevada ~ During CES 2009, Sampsa and SF3D from Team Finland and Pete Hardman and Sami Makinen from AMD tried to break the 3DMarks world record by, first, overclocking Phenom II. With the aid of Nitrogen and Liquid Helium, they were able to create a super cold environment, reaching -232 Degrees Celcius, ideal for overclocking the processor to a whopping 6.5GHz. At this speed, the processor became so powerful that it scored 45,474 3DMarks, setting a new world record. Incredible!
