It appears that while the whole world is experiencing economic crisis and while major electronics companies are closing facilities here and there, Apple is still doing quite well.
The company hit a record $1.61B profit with $10.17B in revenue last quarter. Sales increased with 2.5 Million Macs (up 9%), 22.7 Million iPods (up 3%) and 4.3 Million iPhones sold (up 88%!). It also achieved its goal of selling 10 Million iPhones by the end of 2008 -- a feat tremendously amazing on its own.
