Responding to the demand of the current thin-and-light notebook craze, Acer has just unveiled its new Aspire Timeline set.

Acer Aspire Timeline comes in 13.3, 14.1 and 15.6-inch LED-backlit 16:9 screens in a one-inch thick case. All will run on Intel's Ultra Low Voltage Core 2 Duo processors and will feature multitouch touchpads, HDMI and S/PDIF out and eight hours of battery life, even 10 hours for units with Solid State Drive.

Its price, however, is the thing that makes Aspire Timeline a true Macbook Air and Dell Adamo killer: For just $699 to $899, you can already own a stripped down unit.
Keep tuning in for release date.
