Angel Aquino Takes On The Role Of Eco-Mom (with LG Electronics Products)

LG Electronics, a global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics, recently named veteran host, actress, and environment advocate Angel Aquino as its “Eco-Mom” and first Health Plus ambassador for the Philippines.

“LG builds on its market leadership as the first consumer electronics company to offer a comprehensive suite of health-conscious home appliances,” Aquino says. “I am honored to be associated with this strong global brand and to be part of a company that has cared so much for the environment, and most especially for your family’s health.”

A mother of two kids, Angel Aquino, like many Eco-Moms, is passionate about making the right, healthy and eco-friendly choices to protect her family and loved ones. She strongly believes that a clean home is the first step to a healthy, fulfilling lifestyle.

“With pollution, climate change, and all the stress of busy city life, it’s becoming a challenge to make sure my family is safe from all the harmful substances and conditions of the modern world,” Aquino explains. “Healthy life begins at home. And I’m responsible for keeping my home as healthy as possible. This is not an easy task.”

In the relentless pursuit of this vision, LG together with Eco-Mom Angel Aquino, launched the Health Plus campaign recently at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.

From air conditioners that rid your home of bacteria, dust and viruses to make your air asthma-free, to refrigerators that help keep the vitamins of your fruits and vegetables, or washing machines that reduce allergens by eliminating detergent residue, consumers can now foster the same kind of healthy living in every aspect of their home.

“It gives me a sense of security knowing that my home is a safe haven because I have LG products there,” finishes Angel with a smile.
