Photos, videos and specs of Nokia N87, one of the most-anticipated N-series phone models from Nokia slated for 2010 release, have surfaced on the internet! We don't know which ones are for real so we might as well check them all out:
Supposedly highly-confidential, here are snaps of what appears to be Nokia N87:
Sketched front panel design with specs - read:
12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics
and equipped with Xenon and Dual LED flash
3.2" capacitive touch display with 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA) resolution
Up to 16GB internal storage and a snappy 600MHz processor
Slider for dedicated multimedia keys
Supposed N87 back panel shot
^ These two photos make N87 look so-so.
But this one - grabbed from a leaked video - definitely helps spark interest on the phone:
Now, this looks like a flagship device.
Read: 3.2" AMOLED Capacitive touchscreen
Watch the full leaked video here:
ARM-8 Cortex processor, 256 MB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, Capacitive touch display, 12 Megapixel camera with Xenon flash and Dual LED flash for video recording - if Nokia can deliver these specs on the N87, then I'd be inclined to think N87 will be THE phone to catapult Nokia back to the top spot not only in the US but also in other key markets the world over.
