Nokia N900 Maemo Browser - Web Browsing Demo

The technorati tags Nokia N900 as 'a full-fledged computer that fits in the pocket' and they do so for good reason; Nokia N900 so powerful a mobile device that it'd be so unfair to just classify it as a smartphone.

One of the most potent weapons in Nokia N900's arsenal of stunning features is its Maemo Browser. This browser is so powerful that it loads websites exactly like how you see them on your desktop or notebook. Case in point: Youtube --

Yes, even flash-demanding sites like Youtube (and NBA.com) load in full on Maemo Browser. And get this: Nokia N900 allows you to play flash videos straight from the webpage itself, effectively eliminating the need for a separate media player. But the best part is that you won't notice any compromise in webpage load speed; Thanks to the phone's powerful processor and graphics chip (ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz, PowerVR SGX530 graphics), and sizeable RAM (256MB).

I made a video to show you how good web-browsing experience on Maemo Browser of Nokia N900 is. Check it out:

As you can see in the video, you may open several webpages at once. And when you minimize them, the thumbnails remain active; showing you what's happening in the page. If you want, you may also open other apps like games or document viewer while running the browser.

Let me know if you have questions regarding Maemo browser or Nokia N900 in general. I'd be glad to answer them. Feel free to send me a DM via Twitter or you may just leave your comment and inquiry here.
