If there's any truth to what Shanzai of China reported last week, then it looks like the 2nd iteration to Apple's highly successful slate could very well be called iPad Mini.
"Yes there will be a (7-inch) tablet. Yes it's well underway in terms of product development and in fact it's a finished product. Yes 5 plus different designs have been floating around to help Apple protect itself from people discovering its next product look and feel but... the final design will in fact bear more resemblance to the iPhone 4 stylings than the original iPad design."
The current iPad flaunts a 9.7" capacitive touchscreen. The rumored update, on the other hand, supposedly only comes with 7" display, which - size-wise - could be similar to that of Samsung Galaxy Tab. Mini indeed, eh?
So I guess this rendition could be pretty accurate...
Except that iPad Mini should look more like this than its predecessor;
As yet, we haven't heard anything from Apple on this rumored smaller iPad. So while we're awaiting confirmation from the Cupertino company, you might want to share with us your thoughts on this rumored device --
