Completing Huawei's current consumer lineup for the Philippines is the Huawei S7 Android Tablet.
With a 7-inch TFT resistive touchscreen display, the S7 boasts an 800x480 pixel resolution and provides users the capabilities of showcasing a 720p high definition video playback. Running on a 768MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Android 2.1, Éclair, the S7 provides users quick and easy access to information through its 3G function. The S7 is the perfect complement to the IDEOS U8150 for the ideal mobile experience.
The Huawei S7 dons a stylish form factor and a portable design. With a full touchscreen, an ultra-thin frame, and metallic metal rim, the S7 presents a svelte and technically appealing appearance.
I talked to one of the local representatives of Huawei during the tablet's launch last night and she said that they intend to make S7 very affordable and that really want the slate to be within the reach of Pinoy consumers. Given the slate's price tag in the US, I believe S7's suggested retail price will fall in the range of PhP 13,000 - 17,000.
We'll update this post as soon as we get more word from Huawei on this device.
