I bet this kind of 'thing' happens on Twitter on a daily basis. I mean, Tweeps asking each other out on dates.

But somehow, it feels different when you have probably the most famous football player in the Philippines today asking practically the hottest leading lady in showbiz on a Valentine's date via the social networking *slash* instant messaging site. I dunno, it just feels right; Like everyone should be doing it.

Last night, after the Azkals won its first match against the Blue Wolves of Mongolia, the team's forward player Phil Younghusband - using his BlackBerry - sent the lovely Angel Locsin a tweet, asking her if she's free for V-day;

Of course, with more 47,000 followers seeing the message as soon he posted it, Phil Younghusband's tweet went viral on the site and became a hot topic amongst Pinoy tweeps;
