Bandila Website, Up! Bandilats, Rejoice!

Bandila, ABS-CBN's late night news program, literally gives viewers a venue where they can let their opinions be heard on TV.

Using Facebook and Twitter, Bandila gets comments from Bandilats, the programs avid viewers, on hot issues happening around the globe. Then, during the live broadcast, the anchors - namely Karen Davila, Ces Drilon and Julius Babao - read the stand-out or insightful tweets and messages left on the social networking sites.

It's really amazing how Bandila utilizes technology to engage Filipinos on relevant issues happening around them. I think that the ultimate goal of newscasting should be to empower people and to make them feel that they can a make positive impact in the society and I believe Bandila is definitely on the right track.

"Buong araw nang nakawagayway ang bandila!"

Bandila has just made it easier for Bandilats to read the latest news, interact with one another and leave tweets and comments anytime they want to throughout the day by launching the official Bandila website:
