Last night, at the Republiq, HTC Philippines finally launched its much-anticipated dual-core Android flagship handset, the HTC Sensation --

HTC calls Sensation 'A Multimedia Superphone'. Running on a dual core processor, flaunting a stunning qHD display and featuring Hi-Fi audio technology, HTC Sensation should be able to entertain you like you've never experienced before. This handset also comes with a refreshed, immersive HTC Sense 3.0 experience that's not only gorgeous but also easy-to-use. Furthermore, the premium design, complete with contoured glass edging, really feels great in the hand.

So what can I say about HTC Sensation? Its hardware matches its user interface -- they're both sexy. I've yet to fully explore HTC Sense 3.0 but off hand, the transitions look nice. As for the case itself, I like the rounder phone factor and the contoured glass edging. As expected, the phone looks sophisticated, corporate and expensive; with just one look, you'll know it's a flagship release. Priced at Php 33,000, HTC Sensation is for people who always want to get the best that their money can buy. Thumbs up!

  3. Samsung GS2. Also, it doesn't come with a locked bootloader. The current batch of the HTC Sensation does. I don't know if that'll change.
