According to Apple, the iOS 5 beta release includes over 200 new features that will be available to iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch users starting around September this year. The freshest update to iOS features a new Notification Center, iMessage and NewsStand, among other enhancements. Also, with iOS5's new PC Free feature, users can activate and set up their iDevice right out of the box and even get software updates over the air, no computer required!

In true service of the Filipino Apple fan, TechPinas has neatly listed down the 15 hottest new features that users can expect from iOS5. Here they are --

1. The new Notification Center lets users easily access all notifications, including text messages, missed calls, calendar alerts, app alerts and more, all in one place, from anywhere in iOS 5 user interface.

When they arrive, notifications appear for a short time at the top of the screen without interrupting what the user is doing. With one swipe from above the screen going down you can see all your notifications, and a simple tap will take you right to the app.
