As it turned out, days prior its official launch in the Philippines, Nokia C2-00 can already be purchased in some authorized Nokia retail stores.
What's hot about this entry-level phone? It's the first Dual-SIM Dual-Standby Nokia handset with an Easy Swap SIM port --
You put the SIM that you regularly use inside the handset and put the other one that you don't use as often in the Easy Swap port located at the side of the phone. This way, if you have more than two SIM cards, it would be easier for you to use the third, the fourth or the fifth one.
How much does it cost? Note that we've yet to receive word from Nokia on the official SRP of the phone. (We'll be at its official media launch in Makati this Thursday though!) Nonetheless, we went ahead and asked the stores; Nokia C2-00 sells for Php 3,480. Not bad at all, don't you think?
Update as of June 9, 2011 --
We got this straight from Nokia Philippines at Nokia C2-00 media launch in Makati. The official SRP of Nokia C2-00 in the Philippines is just Php 2,990! Please note, TP Friends.
