Symbian Anna for Nokia C6-01, Nokia C7 : Download Software Update Now!

I had to make sure the update is already available for both devices before blogging about it.

Now, it's confirmed.

Joining Nokia N8 and Nokia E7 users, Nokia C7 and Nokia C6-01 owners can now also download and install Symbian Anna firmware update on their phones either via Nokia PC Suite or Over-The-Air.

I've just installed it on my Nokia C6-01:

and the virtual QWERTY keypad in portrait orientation. I also got the improved browser and new homescreen UI with smooth scrolling.

To get the update over-the-air, just go to Settings, Phone, Phone Management, Device Updates, Options, Check for Updates, download and install the file, then restart the phone.
