CherryPad Turbo Price Php 6,899 - Cheapest Capacitive Touchscreen Android Tablet?

If you're snobbing the Php 3,899 CherryPad because of its resistive touchscreen, then maybe THIS will get your attention.

Cheaper than even CDRKing FastPad, CherryPad Turbo, which costs only Php 6,899 is currently the most affordable capacitive touchscreen Android tablet in the Philippines. The 7-inch tablet runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with its 1.2 GHz processor and features 4GB of internal storage, 2 MegaPixel camera at the back, HDMI port, microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB, microUSB port, and Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity support.

Resistive vs. Capacitive Touchscreen

As I've earlier explained on TP, resistive screens - which are often made of plastic - require a slight pressure to elicit a response and don't support multi-touch gestures. On the other hand, capacitive touch panels - usually made of glass - need merely the slightest touch for input and supports multi-touch.

I was told by CM PR last weekend that CherryPad Turbo should be available at all Cherry Mobile Stores nationwide by the end of this month.
