Yesterday, Ms. Nikka Abes of Nokia Philippines gave me another opportunity to play with the current best cameraphone in the world at their corporate headquarters in Makati City, Philippines.

What's hot about Nokia 808 PureView, you ask? Well, as earlier explained on TechPinas, this smartphone features an unprecedented 41 MegaPixel camera sensor and comes with renowned Carl Zeiss optics and advanced imaging algorithms -- setting a new standard in the cameraphone category. Nokia's PureView imaging technology condenses several pixels into one pure pixel giving users the sharpest and clearest images possible.

If you remember, the first time I played with Nokia PureView 808 was during last month's Lumianation event at The Fort. My friend Jam and I spotted someone from Nokia Philippines holding the phone and Nikka eventually gave us access to it, letting us play with the handset for several minutes.

This time, I got the chance to see the actual packaging and to check out what's inside the box. Also, I was able to explore the user interface more extensively and to take more sample shots.

I'll post my full review of the cameraphone soon but in the meantime, if you will, watch my quick unboxing video of the Nokia 808 PureView.

So again, you get the handset itself, documentation, the charger, microUSB to USB cable connector and the in-ear earphones. There are other accessories and peripherals that you can get for this phone - like the silicon case and camera stand, which you can purchase separately. More about those gizmos on TP soon.

For those who are interested in getting this phone, Nokia 808 PureView is now officially available in the Philippines. The official suggested price is Php 26,550 and it comes in three colors, Black, Red and White -- not sure which one is my favorite as all of them look great.
