Nokia Belle FP2 for Nokia 808 PureView, Nokia 700, 701, and 603, Out Now : Two Ways To Get the Firmware Update!

I've said this before, I'll say it again: Just because Nokia has already adopted Windows Phone as the operating system of its future smartphones doesn't mean the company will drop all support for its Symbian handsets.

Last August, the Finnish company released Nokia Belle Refresh firmware upgrade for Nokia N8, Nokia C7, Nokia E7, Nokia X7, and Nokia C6-01 and today, Nokia 808 PureView, Nokia 700, Nokia 701 and Nokia 603 will get Nokia Belle FP2.

TechPinas Favorite, Nokia 808 PureView, The Best Cameraphone in the World

Nokia Belle FP2 brings a slew of new features to the OS including a faster browser with improved JavaScript engine, new swipe to unlock screen, a new camera user interface, word completion and text prediction for the keyboard, and minor navigation bar, transition effects and widget tweaks. Nokia 808 PureView, being the best cameraphone in the market right now, will also get additional imaging and gallery enhancements.

You can get the update two ways. First, via over-the-air firmware upgrade. You can watch my How to Upgrade Nokia Symbian Smartphone OTA video to guide you through it. Or you can simply connect your handset to your computer and upgrade it using Nokia Suite. Of course, you'd have to first get the latest version of the software for that, then simply follow TechPinas' step-by-step guide on how to update your Nokia smartphone using Nokia Suite.
