O+ 8.15 Quad Core Android Smartphone, Runs 4.2.1 Jelly Bean Right Out Of The Box! Very Slim and Gorgeous! Quick First Hands-On Video!

I've been playing with my O+ 8.15 prototype unit for a few days now and I've completely fallen in love with the device.

Like what I shared in the O+ 8.15 TechPinas Exclusive Preview post, what makes this handset particularly special isn't so much the fact that it has a very affordable price tag for a Quad Core Android smartphone but that it also sports premium design and solid build, has the best Antutu Benchmark Test score in its price category, and is very slim and light.

But it doesn't end there. Its imaging capabilities are just as stellar. O Plus 8.15's 8 MegaPixel autofocus camera with back-illuminated sensor (BSI) and zero shutter lag delivers clear and vibrant images even when they're taken in poorly lit settings. As most of you know, Apple iPhone 5 is one of the handsets in my 2013 daily phones line-up and I can honestly tell you that O+ 8.15's camera is capable of delivering shots that are almost as good as that of the Cupertino company's flagship phone. I'm currently working on a camera capture comparison post between these two powerhouse handsets to prove this so kindly stay tuned.

In the meantime, you might want to watch my quick hands-on, specs rundown, and first boot video of my O+ 8.15. While editing the clips, I realized I had spoken a tad too slow during the recording, I hope it's alright.

Again, O+ 8.15 will become available in the Philippines starting on May 11, 2013 -- that's this coming Saturday. The official suggested retail price is only Php 12,995 but if you're one of the first 100 people to purchase the smartphone at O+'s new and first ever Concept Store located at SM North EDSA Annex 4th Floor on May 11 from 10AM to 11AM, you can get it for Php 3,000 less, bringing its price down to just Php 9,995! I believe they'll also offer Php 3,000 discount for the Dual Core O+ 8.12 with Scratch Resistant Touchscreen, Php 2,000 off the O+ 8.9 phablet, Php 1,000 less the freshly released O+ 8.6, and Php 2,000 discount on O+ 9.76 Pad on that day!

There you go, TP Friends! Let me know your thoughts about O+ 8.15 via our comments section. If you think it's the best smartphone O+ has released so far, kindly share this post on Facebook and Twitter.
