Gionee Elife S5.5 Launched in the Philippines, Ellen Adarna Officially Announced as Celebrity Endorser and Brand Ambassador
Last July 13, 2014 - at the SM North EDSA Annex in Quezon City, International electronics brand Gionee Global officially launched its flagship smartphone, Gionee Elife S5.5, in the country. It is an eye-catching and gorgeous handset which proves that being the sexiest Android phone around isn’t an excuse to compromise substance and power.
Gionee Elife S5.5 is the first handset to be made of 98 percent metal and glass, which makes it look charmingly delicate despite its durable construction. The phone flaunts a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 touchscreen with Native Damage Resistance, said to be three times more durable compared to the second generation after tests showing decreased visible scratches by 40 percent and increased compressive strength by 50 percent. In effect, although the device is only 5.55 millimeters thin, it is tough and it gives the user that reassuring air of durability when holding the phone.
Designed for go-getters, the Gionee S5.5 is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa Core ARM Cortex A7 and Mali 450 GPU based MediaTek MT6592 chipset, which is both powerful and energy-efficient.
