Facebook Philippines is Hiring for Manila Headquarters Based Positions

There are now over 49 Million Facebook users here in the Philippines and 44 million of them are accessing the social networking site using mobile devices including smartphones, phablets, and tablets.

On top of that, more than 32 Million Pinoys follow Facebook Pages for businesses and 95% of all users in our country are exposed to brands and products that are on the site.

Perhaps it is because of Facebook's sheer popularity in the Philippines - reflected by the above-mentioned figures - that the company has deemed it best to open an office in Manila apart from their headquarters in Singapore that overlooks FB's operations in Southeast Asia.

To quote Mr. Kenneth Bishop, Managing Director of Facebook Southeast Asia in a press statement released last April 21, 2016:

"Today marks a new milestone for Facebook in the Philippines and we are committed to driving innovation that helps Filipinos and businesses connect in more meaningful ways. With 91 percent of internet users in the Philippines on Facebook, this is an unprecedented opportunity for business to connect with today’s mobile-first Filipinos."
