Official Asus ZenFone 3 Prices in the Philippines, Announced at Zenvolution

On Sunday - August 14, 2016, Asus Global formally unveiled the 2016 ZenFone 3 product line-up here in the Philippines through #ZenvolutionPH, an exclusive event for dealers, bloggers, fans, and local media which was held at Sofitel Luxury Hotel in Manila.

I'll be posting separate articles for each device showcased both in the keynote and exhibit area -- but for now, allow me to just share the official suggested retail prices of the handsets launched at the event that I'm sure many of you have been eagerly wanting to hear.

Asus ZenFone 3 Max Price Philippines

The most affordable of the bunch is the Asus ZenFone 3 Max, which will sell for Php 8,995 when it becomes available later this month. This handset is equipped with a 5.2-inch HD IPS display and a big 4,130 mAh battery, ensuring multiple days of uptime from a full charge with regular. The pack also supports reverse charging, which gives this device powerbank functionality. ZF3Max also features a 13 MegaPixel autofocus camera at the back, 5MP front cam for selfies, and a Full HD video recorder. This 4G-enabled Dual SIM handset runs its Zen-UI-skinned Android Marshmallow OS with a 64-Bit Quad Core MediaTek MT6737T processor, handles multitasking with 3GB of RAM, and comes with 32GB of expandable storage.

With SRP of Php 11,995, metal-clad Asus ZenFone 3 Laser has a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, 13 MegaPixel autofocus camera with Sony IMX214 sensor, 8 MP front cam for selfies, and a 3,000 mAh battery pack. At its heart, it is powered by a 64-Bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapgradon 430 processor, has 4GB of RAM for multitasking, and comes with 32GB of expandable storage.

Available in two sizes - a 5.2-inch version that will sell for Php 16,885 and a larger 5.5-inch variant going for Php 18,995, Asus ZenFone 3 models come replete with a Full HD IPS+ display panel, 16 MegaPixel main camera (with f/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX298 sensor, Tri-Tech Autofocus, 4-Axis Optical Image Stabilization, and Dual Tone LED Flash), 8 MegaPixels front cam with f/2.0 aperture, Full HD video recorder, Dual SIM capability, 4G LTE support, and USB Type C port. Underneath the glass and metal enclosure, both models are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 chipset. The two have 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be augmented via the hybrid secondary nanoSIM slot that also supports microSD card memory expansion.

Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra Price Philippines

Made to deliver a great mobile entertainment experience, Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra ZU680KL features a large 6.8-inch Full HD IPS display with a 95% NTSC color gamut, which is complemented by two powerful five-magnet stereo speakers and a NXP smart amplifier for well-defined sound. With a chamfered unibody aluminum alloy body, this phablet is equipped a 23 MegaPixel rear camera (with powerful Sony IMX318 sensor for enhanced low-light performance, 4-axis Optical Image Stabilization, and Tri-Tech autofocus technology) 8 MegaPixel selfie cam, Full HD recorder, Dual SIM capability, 4G LTE support, and USB Type C port. Under the hood, Php 32,995 ZF3Ultra runs on a 64-Bit Octa Core Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 652 processor, has 4GB of RAM, and comes with 64GB of expandable storage.

The first ever handset to flaunt a full metal unibody that has no visible antenna lines, Php 34,995 ZF3Deluxe sports a 5.7-inch Full HD AMOLED display, 23 MegaPixel main camera (with f/2.0 aperture, Tri-Tech autofocus, 4-axis Optical Image Stabilization, and Dual Tone LED flash), 8 MegaPixel front cam for selfies with f/2.0 aperture, and 4K video recorder. A beauty and a beast at the same time, this incredible flagship runs its ZenUI-skinned Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with the beastly 64-Bit Quad Core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset, has a whopping 6GB of RAM for ultra-smooth multitasking, and comes with 128GB of expandable storage. A special edition of this model with a more powerful Snapdragon 821 processor and a whopping 256GB of ROM will also be released in the Philippines and that one will go for Php 44,995.

Asked why the prices of ZenFone 3, ZF3Deluxe, and ZFZ3Ultra in the Philippines ended up being far higher than the converted amounts of their SRP's announced at Computex 2016 last June, Asus CEO Mr. Jerry Shen noted that when compared to competing 2016 smartphones with similar price tags, this year's ZenFone models are still better especially when it comes to imaging performance and internal hardware.
