TechPinas O+ USA Extreme Challenge Update : A Must Read!
Hello, TP Friends and O+ Fans!
Several weeks ago, TechPinas partnered with O+ USA to launch our first ever Extreme Video Challenge.
We had a blast viewing all of your fun and exciting entries -- but we have decided to make the challenge even more fun for everyone!
We understand that many have slower internet connection compared to others and some have yet to acquire a device that can shoot videos.
Today, I'm announcing a slight change in our mechanics so more people can join:
We are now also accepting photo entries!
Now, here's the thing: I know some of you have already submitted your video entries (that's from the day we launched the promo until today, September 2, 2016) prior to this announcement. For the early birds who joined this challenge ahead of the others, we want you to know that TP and O+ USA appreciate your effort and as such, we are giving you a cool treat: All of you will receive free movie tickets to Glorietta and Greenbelt in Makati City! We hope you like it! Kindly wait for our email on how you can claim your freebie. Your entries are still in contention for our Extreme Challenge so keep sending your new entries and stay tuned for the announcement of the winners of the O+ USA handsets.
Alright! Now, allow me to present to you our revised mechanics:
1. Like and Follow O+ USA and TechPinas on Social Media Sites:
Facebook: facebook.com/OplusUSA and facebook.com/TechPinas
Twitter and Instagram: @OPLUSUSA and @TECHPINAS
2. Post a photo or video on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram showing yourself doing extreme activities (like trekking, diving, zip-lining, rappelling, and the like). You can ask your barkada or bestfriend to join you in the shot; You may also submit clips and photos that you've taken previously.
3. Tell something about the video or photo via caption. Also, mention 2 friends or followers by saying: "I’m inviting and to post their extreme adventure." Don’t forget to hashtags #OplusVentiLTE, #OplusUpsized40GB, #WinVentiAndUpsized, and #TechPinas. Make sure that your two friends will post their entries too to qualify in the contest.
Sample caption:
“This photo was taken at the peak of Mount Pulag. It was so exciting! I’m inviting Trish Reyes and Jake Morales to post their extreme adventures. #OplusVentiLTE #OplusUpsized40GB #WinVentiAndUpsized #TechPinas”
4. For Facebook Entry:
- Post your entries on your timeline. Get the link of your entry and post it on O+ USA Facebook page
- Make sure that the privacy setting of your entry is “Public”
For Twitter and Instagram Entry:
- Simply Tweet and Instagram your entries but don't forget to use the hashtags.
5. The winner, which will be chosen based on the quality of uploaded videos and photos, will get O+ Venti LTE and his/her two friends will get O+ Upsized 40GB each
6. Promo runs from September 1 to September 15, 2016. Winners will be announced September 18, 2016.
