Sony Xperia XZ1 Philippines Price is Php 39,990, Release Date Will Be on October 13, 2017

The pre-order period for the Q3 to Q4 2017 Flagship Android smartphone of Japanese tech giant, Sony, has just started here in the Philippines and will go on until October 1, 2017.

Consumers who will confirm their Sony Xperia XZ1 purchase within the said time frame will get a free Sony wireless Bluetooth Speaker SRS-XB10, which is worth Php 2,999!

Donning an official suggested retail price of Php 39,990, the all-new Sony Xperia XZ1 has some of the interesting features of the stunning Sony Xperia XZ Premium but is more affordable and has a smaller footprint.

In terms of design, the handset has an all-metal unibody frame that looks absolutely gorgeous from all angles.

The face features a clear and crisp 5.2-inch Full HD IPS Triluminos display with wide color gamut that's protected by 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 5 touchscreen panel.

Although the handset has a rather masculine, rectangular footprint, the sides are beautifully curved giving a better feel in the hands and making the device look even more visually arresting.

I particularly found the Black version very handsome. With a black wallpaper, the display blends seamlessly with the top and bottom bezels as well as the aluminum shell to give a monoblock look. It's as if you're holding a solid piece of black gem in your hand, as shown in the photo above.

Like its slightly older siblings in the flagship category, Sony Xperia XZ1 also has a Fingerprint Scanner on the side - integrated with the power button - for easy access using your thumb when you're holding the phone. It it flanked by the volume rocker and the hardware camera button, which is one of my favorite features of Xperia smartphones ever since the beginning.

Just like Sony Xperia XZ Premium, this model can also take Super Slow Motion 960 frames per second HD videos that can used to add cinematic excitement to your clips.

On top of that, Xperia XZ1 is also the first handset from the company to have a slew of applications for taking, editing, and sharing 3D captures and clips! Yes, you can use the camera to make 3D copies of everyday objects as well as the faces and heads of your friends.

Speaking of imaging capabilities, the handset has a 19 MegaPixel f/2.0 camera at the back with top-notch electronic image stabilization (EIS), a 13 MegaPixel f/2.0 camera in front with Soft Skin effect for Selfies, and a 4K 30fps video recorder.

At its heart, again - much like the Xperia XZ Premium, Sony Xperia XZ1 runs its Xperia-skinned Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with a flagship-level10nm 64-Bit Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, has 4GB of RAM, and comes with 64GB of storage that's expandable using the phone's hybrid secondary nanoSIM slot. The power of this set of innards is largely comparable to that of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.

Available in a four classy hues, including Moonlit Blue, Warm Silver, Venus Pink, and Black, the strikingly good-looking Sony Xperia XZ1 will hit store shelves across the Philippines on October 13, 2017.
