Huawei Mate 10 Price in the Philippines is Php 32,990, Here Are Its Full Specs and Actual Photos

Huawei's Q4 2017 flagship Android smartphone is now officially available in the Philippines!

Handsome and powerful, the all-new Huawei Mate 10 has a large and brilliant display, great imaging capabilities, large battery pack, and a smart interface that adjusts to meet the user's preferences.

The downright gorgeous Quad HD IPS display is massive, measuring 5.9 inches across and has very, very thin side bezels that make the handset relatively thin considering the screen size.

Whether you like watching movies, viewing photos, or browsing websites on your smartphone, you will surely find the activity more enjoyable on this release.

As for the design, Mate 10 has a glass-metal-glass build that looks stunning from every angle. The face has 2.5D curved edges while the back has a subtle curve that makes the phone a joy to hold.

The midframe is crafted from aluminum, which doesn't only make the phone more durable but also gives it an air of corporate elegance and opulence.

If you live an active lifestyle and you're always out and about, bringing your handset to your out of town adventures, you will be glad to know that Mate 10 has an IP53 build which means that it's protected against splashes or accidental drops in shallow water.

As you can see, the button placement is very familiar. The volume rocker and power button are located on the right panel for easy access using the thumb if you're right handed or your pointer finger if you're a lefty. The SIM card tray slot, which can be ejected using a pin, is located on the left panel.

Above the display, we'll find the earpiece along with the 8 MegaPixel front-facing camera, which benefits from Huawei's own beautification software and Shallow Depth of Field effect for luscious selfies that are ready for sharing on Facebook or Instagram.

Below the screen, there's a Fingerprint Scanner that provides an extra layer of security and privacy for the user. It's snappy, letting you unlock the display with but a touch of a finger.

Huawei Mate 10 runs its EMUI-skinned Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with the powerhouse Hisilicon Kirin 970 AI processor that's supposedly understands 'real world situations' or the user's preferences to adjust the performance of the handset. More about this in TechPinas soon.

This chipset is complemented by 4GB of RAM for multitasking and 64GB of storage that's expandable using the hybrid nanoSIM slot that also supports microSD card up to 256GB.

Probably the main highlight of this model is its Dual Camera module at the back, which is made up of a 20MP shooter along with a secondary 12MP optic -- both of which were co-crafted by Leica.

This set-up makes this model a great cameraphone that delivers 2X lossless zoom for better framing, adjustable shallow depth of field effect, and stunning monochrome imaging.

Love listening to music? Well, the phone has a 3.5mm audio jack so it means you can still work with those great wired headsets that you have at home. No need for an adapter.

Like Mate models in the past, this fresh iteration also has a large battery that ensures long uptime to give you peace of mind on the go. The 4,000 mAh Li-Po pack also supports fast charging so you won't have to keep the handset plugged to an electrical outlet too long just to get the most of out it throughout the day.

Priced at Php 32,990 upon launch, the Huawei Mate 10 is relatively more affordable than its leading competitors in the flagship level echelon. For me, while the handset still has rooms for improvement (for instance, the RAM could be larger and the screen could be bezel-less, among others), the strengths of this model - which I've noted above - make it a flagship release that's certainly worth checking out and considering.
