Which Pinoy Celebrities Endorse VIVO Smartphones?

Within a span of less than 2 years, Chinese company Vivo Mobile has managed to become the third the most popular smartphone brand in the Philippines with at least 1.1 million users (and more than 5,200 stores nationwide)!

The brand was able to achieve this incredible success in such a short amount of time by employing several effective measures, including aggressive trade marketing in malls and working closely with tech bloggers and digital influencers.

But perhaps the one strategy that sets Vivo apart from so many other brands - except its erstwhile rivals OPPO and Cherry Mobile - is its willingness to tap as many Pinoy celebrities endorsers as it can to make its branding more memorable and resounding.

That's right!

In fact, aside from Vivo's International Celebrity Endorser, NBA Superstar Steph Curry, the company also enlists the services of popular celebrities and figures in its countries of operation.

In September 2017, during the grand launch of the Vivo V7+, Vivo Philippines introduced their newest brand endorsers headlined by Kapamilya love-team Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

The other brand endorsers unveiled at event were Maymay Entrata, Barbie Forteza, Inigo Pascual, Tony Labrusca, KZ Tandingan. Boyband PH members - Joao Constancia, Niel Murillo, Tristan Ramirez, Russell Reyes, Ford Valencia. The Voice Kids runners-up Sassa Dagdag and Darren Espanto, Pinoy Big Brother alumna Maris Racal, Kisses Delavin, and Loisa Andalio, Sue Ramirez, TJ Monterde, Andrea Brillantes, The Voice alumnus Jason Dy, Star-struck Kids discovery Paul Salas, Chiena Filomino, model Kira Balinger, and sexy DJ Ashley Rivera.

Kapuso Leading Lady Julie Anne San Jose is also a proud Vivo endorser.

For the year of 2017, Vivo accumulated 27 local endorsers.

Vivo PH also supports key projects of its celebrity endorsers, which makes the tie-up more hard-working.

One of the most successful is Popssss, an online music-centric show that is part of the roster of programmes of ABS-CBN’s One Music PH. Hosted by Vivo endorser Inigo Pascual, Popssss features fresh and seasoned talents in the local music scene.

Another one of the biggest collaboration work Vivo Philippines entered into was the Mega Fashion Week in October 2017. At the event's launch, Vivo co-presented a MEGA Fashion Film featuring Vivo Family headliner and Mega Magazine cover girl Kathryn Bernardo. The fashion show on the other hand, was graced by another Vivo endorser, Kisses Delavin.

"Vivo Exclusive Episodes" is a fun, lighthearted online show where Vivo influencers are asked to do fun challenges to entertain their followers.

Darren Espanto’s marshmallow challenge, which got 96,000 views to date, involved Darren fitting as many marshmallows in his mouth while Boyband PH reveal each other’s secrets in Vivo Exclusive’s Name Drop episode. McCoy De Leon's video where he answered “kilig” questions - delighting fans -  has already gotten 76,000 views!

Lastly, fans were thrilled with the Vivo-sponsored Inigo Pascual’s successful Para Saýo Thanksgiving Concert on December 1, 2017 at the Music Museum. Meanwhile, McCoy De Leon and on-screen partner Elisse Joson had a mini concert following an album launch - also sponsored by Vivo - that was held on November 25, 2017 at the SM Skydome.

According to the company, Vivo will have a surefire spot in positive brand presence with the help of the famous names included in the family. And following its success in 2017, Vivo expects a meteoric rise to greater heights with these celebrities promoting the brand.
