And when it was still new, I really wanted to go back to the SGS.. But now I got used to it. Also seeing as the SGS xda-dev scene has been stagnant since February.. I'm happy to have switched. :)the Overmindnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7029587151288514174.post-18530734591339216872011-05-26T11:05:01.080+08:002011-05-26T11:05:01.080+08:00The only dev part of it would be it can be unlocke...The only dev part of it would be it can be unlocked easily as opposed to other "non-dev" phones that requires rooting.

"Social phone specs" are the same.the Overmindnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7029587151288514174.post-74596449288682754212011-05-26T11:03:47.846+08:002011-05-26T11:03:47.846+08:00It had some when it was released. I guess they fixed it hence the version being 2.3.4 already.

It's no doubt a great phone as was the Galaxy S.

But there are a lot of phones coming out. The wise option would be to get a Galaxy S II when it comes out.. or hopefully a Nexus S II if ever there is one.the Overmindnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7029587151288514174.post-14162257490877302852011-05-25T13:18:55.960+08:002011-05-25T13:18:55.960+08:00just got mine yesterday from globe. you're rig...just got mine yesterday from globe. you're right, it's I9023. i didnt know that. argh. coz gsm arena says its only for Indian market so I assumed we're not included with that.
but screen is still good actually. plus its preloaded with 2.3.3, though i already installed 2.3.4AkoItohttp://akoito.myopenid.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7029587151288514174.post-66330448821700467972011-05-24T13:51:23.611+08:002011-05-24T13:51:23.611+08:00I got mine from Best Buy in the US, so far no bugs...I got mine from Best Buy in the US, so far no bugs and it is very smooth. And since it's Vanilla Android 2.3, I get the latest and greatest build of Android as soon as Google sends it OTA. Now running 2.3.4 with GTalk video calls available. Even if it's not a dual core, it runs faster than most of the Dual Core Android Phones out there because of the Manufacturer's Skin running on top of the OS. The Super AMOLED display is very vibrant and very bright when it needs to, I hope the Super Clear LCD released here in PH is the same or at least close enough. Overall, Nexus S is the most well-rounded, if not the best, Android Phone today.

Btw, I forgot to mention that the battery life of this baby is Superb! It can definitely, safely last you a day or two without charging. yumax_phlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7029587151288514174.post-19970233698859437952011-05-24T13:46:57.156+08:002011-05-24T13:46:57.156+08:00Thanks for this. :) We'll look into it. :)Thanks for this. :) We'll look into it. :)TechPinashttp://www.techpinas.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7029587151288514174.post-80243238862962743862011-05-24T13:39:33.882+08:002011-05-24T13:39:33.882+08:00i think the Nexus S that Globe is selling is the I...i think the Nexus S that Globe is selling is the I9023 version, which means it doesn't have the Super AMOLED display, instead it's Super Clear LCD version of the Nexus S. They only released the Super AMOLED version in the US, UK and of course, Greenhills (if it's imported directly from the US/UK).yumax_phlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7029587151288514174.post-85597582113519208152011-05-23T14:26:39.432+08:002011-05-23T14:26:39.432+08:00The nexus s is designed for a dev user so I expect...The nexus s is designed for a dev user so I expect a not so social phone in specsBlkstingernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7029587151288514174.post-66527089728893980832011-05-23T09:01:08.719+08:002011-05-23T09:01:08.719+08:00Hope you note all the little bugs this baby had/ha...Hope you note all the little bugs this baby had/has..the Overmindnoreply@blogger.com
