UAAP Season 80 Livestream and Men's Senior Basketball Game Schedule

The country's largest television network, ABS-CBN, continues to improve their efforts in bringing the UAAP games closer to all students and alumni of UAAP member universities as well as casual fans of the games and followers of the players.

Aside from broadcasting UAAP Men's Senior Basketball Games on ABS-CBN Sports and Action Channel 23, the network will also do online livestreaming of the matches at http://sports.abs-cbn.com/livestream/uaap for those who don't have access to the television and only rely on the internet for watching TV shows and programs.


The double-round-robin UAAP Men's Senior Basketball Elimination Round - where the Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU), University of the Philippines (UP), University of Santo Tomas (UST), De La Salle University (DLSU),  Far Eastern University (FEU), Adamson University (AdU), and University of the East (UE) will face other - will start on September 9, 2017 and will end on October 8, 2017. After which, the top 4 teams with the most wins will enter the semi-final matches. Here's the complete game schedule courtesy of ABS-CBN:


UAAP and Smartphone Brands

Did you know that through the years, various popular handset brands and companies have become major partners and advertisers of the UAAP? Back in the early 2000's, the Finnish Giant Nokia became a major sponsor of the games while during the mid to late 2000's, Korean company Samsung became a top UAAP and UAAP Cheerdance advertiser. In 2016, proudly Pinoy handset maker Cherry Mobile promoted their best-selling Flare Series Android smartphones during the matches. This year - 2017, Chinese handset maker Vivo Mobile is sole smartphone brand sponsor of the UAAP and looking at the brand's recent promotional materials, it appears that Vivo V7+ will be the first handset that they'll advertise via the UAAP.
