iOS 4.3 Software Update for iPhone 3Gs, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 3rd Generation, iPod Touch 4th Generation and iPad 1st Generation is now available for download.
To get it, all you have to do is to connect your supported iDevice to the latest version of iTunes, go to Device Summary, click on Check for Updates button and let iTunes do its thing (that is, it will download the software update and once done, it will ask you if you want to proceed with the installation);
iOS 4.3 brings the following improvements:
1. AirPlay is the wireless technology that lets users stream content from their iDevice to an HDTV via Apple TV. With iOS 4.3, AirPlay-enabled apps and websites can finally get the big-screen treatment. Also, users can now play a photo slideshow with themes available on Apple TV.
3. With iOS 4.3 you can play your entire iTunes library from your PC or Mac on your iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad via a shared Wi-Fi network. Watch a movie or TV show, play a podcast or listen to an audiobook without having to sync or download.
4. iOS 4.3 allows iPad users to customize the switch on the side of their device to lock the screen rotation or to mute the volume.
5. iOS 4.3 turns your iPhone 4 into a Personal Hotspot, allowing it to share 3G connection with up to five devices at once over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and even USB
Downloading iOS 4.3 on my iPod Touch 4G now. Will let you know what I think about it after a few days.
