Sarah Geronimo has recently been spotted with a new phone (and contrary to what you might expect, it's not a Sony Ericsson handset anymore).
Joining the lovely Anne Curtis (remember Anne Curtis' MyPhone S Phone?), Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo is now a bonafide MyPhone celebrity endorser. And the first phone to don her name or at least her endorsement is MyPhone QP29 Duo.
While it can't really stand shoulder to shoulder with smartphones in terms of specifications, full QWERTY candybar QP29 Duo nonetheless holds the distinction of being the First Music Album Phone in the Philippines. This means that this phone actually comes with enough tracks to form a full Sarah Geronimo album and that every purchase of this handset will count as additional album sales for the pop star.
MyPhone QP29 Duo comes with features standard for every phone in its category. It flaunts a full QWERTY back-lit keypad and a TFT LCD screen. The handset comes with a microUSB port, microSD card slot that supports up to 16GB, a 2 MegaPixel camera and surprisingly, a trackpad for navigation. But main highlights of Sarah's phone are The Surround Sound Loudspeakers and 8 Original Songs of Sarah that (supposedly) could not be copied (as an Anti-piracy move).
Last December 1, to introduce the Sarah's album phone, MyPhone offered it at a discounted price of only Php 2,999. Since the promo sale has lapsed, it's now back to having the standard SRP of Php 3,999.
