Samsung Wave S8500 Bada 1.2 Firmware Update : Coming Soon!

Good news for Samsung Wave S8500 owners!

The Korean company will start rolling out 1.2 software update for Samsung Wave S8500 smartphones come early next year. The update will include a number of bug fixes and improved security and will also add the T9 Trace keyboard, which works a lot like Swype.

Accoring to Bada's official Twitter page, this firmware update will hit Wave phones in Europe first while support elsewhere will follow within Q1 2011;

If you own a Samsung Wave S8500, you can check for software updates by connecting your phone to your computer via Samsung Kies.

  2. I ALREADY UPDATED MY SAMSUNG WAVE WITH THIS BADA 1.2.. IT HAS SOME MINOR CHANGES INCLUDING T9 TRACE ( LIKE SWYPE ) TYPING ... I'M WAITING FOR THE BADA 2.0 TO BE RELEASED AND UPDATE IT WITH THE WAVE.. SAMSUNG SHOULD UPDATE THEIR FIRST FLAGSHIP DEVICE FOR BADA SO THAT MANY WAVE USERS WILL ENJOY USING THIS PHONE... !
