This is particularly relevant for Filipina content creators who regularly use Beauty Mode for TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and other social platforms. I wish TECNO would enable Beauty Mode at 1080p, which would provide a better balance between beautification and video clarity.

The CAMON Slim 5G also offers adjustable Cinematic Filters, adding creative value for users who want to give their footage a particular mood or visual character without relying entirely on post-processing apps. Having adjustable filters rather than simple fixed effects gives casual creators more room to personalize the look of their videos.

These are easier to appreciate than AI features included merely to lengthen a specification sheet because they address recognizable everyday tasks involving school, work, small businesses, photography, and personal organization.

RAM Expansion can allocate part of the internal storage as additional virtual memory. This should not be confused with actual physical RAM because internal storage is not as fast, but the feature can provide additional headroom when several applications need to remain available in the background.

Its hardware should be suitable for popular mobile titles, while more graphically demanding games may require sensible graphics settings to maintain a better balance between visual quality, heat, power consumption, and frame-rate stability.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is particularly relevant for Filipino users, and the game is considerably less demanding than some large open-world mobile titles. For ordinary users, that means the phone does not immediately impose the traditional compromise associated with ultra-thin hardware. A large battery provides more breathing room for 5G connectivity, photography, social media, navigation, streaming, AI features, and gaming throughout the day.

I've taken TECNO CAMON Slim 5G out for a whole day of snapping photos and around dinner time, I still had around 37% battery life left. I'd say that this phone can definitely last an entire day of regular use coming from full charge.

Charging is handled by 45W wired charging through USB Type-C. It may not be the fastest charging technology available in the Android market, but the combination of a large battery and reasonably fast charging should be more important to many users than chasing an extremely high wattage figure.

Verdict: Pros and Cons
