Apple iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max Philippines Official Prices, Specs, and Features

Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max Philippines
Apple iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max bring the A20 Pro chip, variable-aperture camera technology, Siri AI, upgraded Dynamic Island, and major battery improvements to Apple's flagship smartphone line.

  • Pro Camera: Apple iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max introduce Apple's new 48 MegaPixels Fusion Main Camera with variable aperture, giving users greater control over depth of field and lighting while bringing more advanced manual photography options to the Camera app.
  • A20 Pro: Both flagship models run on the new 2 nm Apple A20 Pro chip with a 6-core CPU, 7-core GPU, Dual 16-core Neural Engine, and a next-generation vapor chamber designed to deliver major gains in graphics, AI processing, and sustained performance.
  • Two Sizes: iPhone 18 Pro provides the core Pro experience in a smaller 6.3-inch form factor, while iPhone 18 Pro Max stretches the display to 6.9 inches and delivers significantly longer battery life, with Philippine prices starting at PHP 94,990 and PHP 99,990, respectively.

Apple's annual Pro iPhone refresh has arrived, and this generation puts some of its biggest upgrades exactly where demanding users are likely to notice them. The new Apple iPhone 18 Pro and Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max combine a more sophisticated camera system, A20 Pro processing power, improved thermal management, longer battery life, and a more capable version of Siri through iOS 27.

Although the two phones share most of their underlying technologies, Apple is once again giving buyers a choice between a more manageable Pro device and a substantially larger Pro Max. The difference goes beyond physical dimensions because battery life is another major differentiator between the two.

Apple iPhone 18 Pro: Pro Power in a More Compact Package

The iPhone 18 Pro is the smaller member of Apple's new professional flagship duo. It measures 150 x 71.9 x 8.8 mm and weighs 211 grams, making it considerably more compact and lighter than the Pro Max while retaining essentially the same flagship platform and camera hardware.

Its 6.3-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display has a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 and Dolby Vision support, plus brightness reaching 3000 nits at peak. Ceramic Shield 2 protects the display, complemented by an anti-reflective coating.

Inside is Apple's new A20 Pro built using a 2 nm process. The chipset combines a 6-core CPU, 7-core GPU, and Dual 16-core Neural Engine. Apple says the GPU is up to 40 percent faster than the A19 Pro, while the new chip provides 50 percent more memory bandwidth.

Apple has also redesigned the thermal architecture. A next-generation vapor chamber with three times more surface area than the previous generation works directly with the A20 Pro packaging to improve heat dissipation and sustained performance.

Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max: Bigger Screen, Bigger Battery

For users who want Apple's biggest conventional flagship, the iPhone 18 Pro Max expands the display to 6.9 inches. Its LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED panel has a 1320 x 2868 pixel resolution and the same 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10, Dolby Vision, Ceramic Shield 2 protection, and anti-reflective coating found on the smaller Pro.

Naturally, that additional screen real estate results in a larger body. The Pro Max measures 163.4 x 78 x 8.8 mm and weighs 249 grams, compared with 211 grams for the Pro.

The larger chassis, however, creates room for one of the Pro Max's biggest advantages. Apple says the iPhone 18 Pro Max delivers the largest increase in battery life ever on an iPhone. eSIM-only versions can provide up to 45 hours of video playback, compared with up to 36 hours on the corresponding iPhone 18 Pro.

Aside from these differences, the Pro Max shares the same A20 Pro platform, storage configurations, camera system, connectivity technologies, and iOS 27 experience as its smaller sibling.

Variable Aperture Comes to iPhone

Photography is one of the biggest stories of this generation.

Both phones feature a 48 MegaPixels Fusion Main Camera with variable aperture, marking the first time Apple has offered aperture control on an iPhone. Six laser-cut blades controlled by a new rotor mechanism allow the camera to transition smoothly between different apertures.

The system can automatically adjust according to depth of field and lighting, while more experienced photographers can manually choose from four aperture settings inside the Camera app. Apple says the camera can intelligently widen to f/1.48 for low-light photography.

The rest of the rear setup includes a 48 MegaPixels periscope telephoto camera with 4x optical zoom and a 48 MegaPixels ultra-wide camera. A TOF 3D LiDAR scanner provides depth information.

Apple is also introducing Pro controls in the Camera app. Users can directly adjust aperture, shutter speed, and white balance while accessing a histogram for checking exposure.

Video remains equally ambitious, with support for 4K recording at up to 120fps, Dolby Vision HDR, ProRes, ProRes RAW, Apple Log 2, and spatial video and audio.

Apple Reference Image Takes Aim at Photo Authenticity

One particularly interesting addition is Apple Reference Image, a feature designed to help determine whether a photograph has been edited.

The Main Camera's new sensor can sign every pixel it sees. When Reference mode is used, signed sensor information is processed through Private Cloud Compute to produce what Apple describes as an unalterable reference image.

Users can view this reference alongside the primary photograph in Photos, effectively providing a digital negative for comparison. Combined with image metadata and upcoming support for the SynthID standard, Apple is positioning the feature as another way to help identify content that has been generated or altered using AI.

That could be especially relevant for photographers and photojournalists, but its usefulness potentially extends to everyday users at a time when manipulated imagery is becoming increasingly difficult to identify.

Smaller Dynamic Island, More Information

The Dynamic Island has also been redesigned on the iPhone 18 Pro generation.

Apple says advanced display technology has allowed it to make the Dynamic Island smaller while simultaneously making it more useful. It can now display as many as three Live Activities at once.

Face ID remains integrated into the system for securely unlocking the phone, authenticating purchases, and signing into applications.

A20 Pro and Next-Generation Connectivity

The 2 nm A20 Pro is paired with Apple's N1 wireless networking chip, enabling Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread connectivity.

Apple's new C2 cellular modem system also makes its debut. According to Apple, C2 brings AI-powered improvements to cellular quality and reliability, provides meaningfully faster uploads than C1X, consumes 15 percent less energy, and supports mmWave in the United States.

Apple A20 Pro Processor

Both models come with 12GB RAM and choices of 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, or 2TB of internal storage.

Siri AI and iOS 27

Software plays an equally important role in Apple's pitch for its newest Pro devices.

Siri AI is rolling out in beta with iOS 27 and represents an entirely new version of Apple's assistant powered by Apple Intelligence. It can use personal context to help users find information across messages, emails, photos, and other content.

Onscreen awareness allows Siri AI to understand and act on information currently displayed on the device, while Siri mode in the Camera app can provide information and perform actions based on what the camera sees.

Apple Intelligence also brings Spatial Reframing, Extend, and an upgraded Clean Up for photographs, while Image Playground gains photorealistic imagery. Safari's Notify Me feature can monitor webpages for changes such as product restocks and price drops.

Apple says its AI approach continues to emphasize privacy through a combination of on-device processing and Private Cloud Compute.

Same Pro DNA, Different Priorities

Choosing between the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max ultimately comes down largely to size and battery priorities because their core specifications are remarkably similar.

Both feature A20 Pro, 12GB RAM, the triple 48 MegaPixels rear camera system, 18 MegaPixels selfie camera, 120Hz LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED displays, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2, and iOS 27.

The Pro offers these capabilities in a smaller 6.3-inch package weighing 211 grams. The Pro Max gives buyers a 6.9-inch screen and substantially larger battery configuration, but its weight rises to 249 grams.

For buyers who prioritize a smaller premium handset without sacrificing Apple's new Pro camera and processing technologies, the iPhone 18 Pro presents the more compact option. Those who prefer the largest display and longest possible battery life can instead move up to the iPhone 18 Pro Max.

Apple iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max Availability in the Philippines

Apple has officially revealed the Philippine pricing of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, with both models starting at 256GB and now offering storage options all the way up to 2TB. The Apple iPhone 18 Pro is priced at PHP 94,990 for 256GB, PHP 110,990 for 512GB, PHP 142,990 for 1TB, and PHP 189,990 for the top-of-the-line 2TB configuration.

For those who prefer the larger iPhone 18 Pro Max, prices naturally sit a little higher across all storage capacities. The Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max carries an official Philippine price of PHP 99,990 for 256GB, PHP 115,990 for 512GB, PHP 147,990 for 1TB, and PHP 194,990 for 2TB. This means the Pro Max commands a consistent PHP 5,000 premium over the corresponding iPhone 18 Pro configuration, making the choice between the two largely dependent on the buyer's preferred size and overall experience.

As of September 10, 2026, Apple Philippines has already published the official local prices for both models on its website, although the company is still displaying a "Check back later for availability" notice. This means Filipino Apple fans already know exactly how much to prepare for their preferred iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max configuration, but the official local pre-order and release schedule has yet to be announced.

Both models will be offered in Black, Silver, Glacier, and Burgundy colorways once they become available in the Philippines.
