How To Close or Minimize All Chat Boxes on Facebook for Desktop In One Go To Get More Screen Space

It's actually so easy -- but not everyone knows how to do it.

Here's the three-step process:

1. Hover your mouse pointer or cursor on top of the chat heads column on the right side of your Facebook for Desktop screen.

2. A row of three dots or an ellipsis will appear. Simply click on it.

3. You will be given two options. First, "Close all chats". Second, "Minimize open chats". Just choose which one you prefer.

So there you have it! Easy-peasy!
