Fake BDO Online Alert Emails are Back! Beware and Let Your Loved Ones Know!

This is the fake BDO Online Alert Email that I personally got on my account.

Friends, I just want to warn everyone to be extra careful because I personally received one of those fake BDO Online ALERT emails again today.

At first glance, the message looks legit -- the layout copies BDO’s official email design, and the subject line sounds urgent enough to make you panic. But when I checked closely, I immediately noticed something off. The email was sent from this address: ntdai@baominh.com.vn

Obviously, this is not an official BDO email domain. That alone is already a huge red flag that this is a phishing attempt.

🚨 Important Reminder:

Never, ever click on the “Secure Your Account” button in these fake emails. And never type in your personal details like username, password, or OTP. If you do, scammers can instantly gain access to your account and steal your money.

💡 How to Protect Yourself:

1. Always check the sender’s email address. If it doesn’t end in @bdo.com.ph, it’s fake.

2. BDO will never ask you to log in through an external link or third-party site.

3. When in doubt, go straight to the official BDO website (https://www.bdo.com.ph) or use the official mobile app.

4. If you accidentally clicked a suspicious link, change your password immediately and report it to BDO’s official customer support.

Scammers are getting better at making these fake alerts look real, but as long as we stay cautious and double-check details, we can avoid falling victim. Please share this with your family and friends who might also be receiving these dangerous emails.

Stay safe online, TechPinas Family. Let’s continue spreading awareness so more Filipinos can avoid being tricked by these scams.
