Smart Communications, Inc. is making it even easier for Filipinos to stay connected by adding Apple Pay as a payment option for its subscribers. As one of the first companies to welcome Apple Pay in the Philippines, Smart is enabling customers to conveniently buy Smart Prepaid or TNT load and pay their Smart Postpaid or Smart Infinity bills using Apple's secure digital wallet beginning August 4.

The new payment method is available at Smart Stores nationwide as well as through the Smart Online Store, giving customers greater flexibility whether they prefer to transact in person or online.

After adding a compatible credit or debit card to the Apple Wallet app, customers can simply choose Apple Pay during checkout to complete their transaction in just a few taps or clicks, eliminating the need to manually enter payment details each time.

This makes paying for mobile services faster while maintaining the familiar Apple experience that many users already rely on for everyday purchases.

One of Apple Pay's biggest strengths is its emphasis on user privacy and security.

Every payment is authenticated using Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode, ensuring that only the authorized user can complete a transaction.
