In fact, there are already rumors circulating that the Korean Giant is already working on an even better camera sensor for their next generation flagship phablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6, which will be launched in Q4 2016.

According to 'industry insiders', Samsung will give the Note6 a new 1/1.7” CMOS camera sensor to come with a lens module that has an f/1.4 aperture, allowing it deliver industry-leading low-light performance. [source] In comparison, Galaxy S7's shooter features a 1/2.5” sensor with an f/1.7 aperture. They added that Samsung wants to push the pixel count of the 2016 phablet's camera to the 18 to 24 MegaPixel range. Talk about a giant leap in imaging specs!
