Cubix Cube OnRev Max Price is Php 2,999 : Has 6-inch HD Screen and Real Metal Back Plate
Apart from its very affordable price tag, there are three things I really like about the Cubix Cube OnRev Max, which is currently on sale via the ongoing 2017 Lazada Online Revolution sale for only Php 2,999.
First, there's the massive 6-inch high-definition IPS display panel that just makes everything easier to read and helps deliver a great thumb-typing experience -- since the virtual keys aren't cramped.
It's not the most pixel-dense screen out there since its resolution is not Full HD -- but if you hate squinting when reading or composing text messages, browsing blogs and websites, or updating social networking accounts, you will appreciate it too.
Second, I love the real metal back plate, which is a real treat in this price point. This design element certainly adds an air of both durability and elegance to this very wallet-friendly phablet.
And finally, I love the smooth touch response that I'm getting from this device. I've been playing with Cubix Cube OnRev Max for three days now and so far, I haven't experienced annoying lags or stuttering when I'm swiping on the touchscreen or when typing using the on-screen keyboard.
I guess I can say that although the phone has modest internal hardware - which include the 1.3 GHz Quad Core MediaTek MT6580 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage - OnRev Max can still deliver a decent everyday mobile experience for most consumers.
How about the phone's imaging capabilities, you ask? Well, this model has 13 MegaPixel autofocus camera at the back with LED flash and an 8 MegaPixel front cam for selfies. Both cameras are far from the best coming from Cosmic Technologies, the company behind Cubix -- but I wouldn't raise my eyebrows at them, certainly not at this price point.
Oh, and I almost forgot, this smartphone has a Fingerprint Scanner at the back that lets the owner unlock the interface with just a touch of a finger. This extra privacy and security feature is definitely another good feature to have on a device this affordable.
