When Xiaomi hosts a global launch, the world pays attention. On September
24, 2025, in Munich, Germany, the brand officially unveiled the
Xiaomi 15T Series,
headlined by the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro. This new lineup represents a major leap for Xiaomi’s T series, pushing
the limits of optics, performance, connectivity, and design.
A New Standard for Smartphone Photography
At the heart of the Xiaomi 15T Series lies its camera system, built in close collaboration with Leica.
Both models carry a triple camera setup, but the
Xiaomi 15T Pro takes things a step further
with its Leica 5x Pro telephoto lens, offering
5x optical zoom, 10x optical-level zoom, and up to 20x Ultra
Zoom. This means users can move seamlessly from expansive landscapes to crisp
close-ups without sacrificing detail.
Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro both feature a
50MP main camera
equipped with Leica Summilux optics. The Pro variant benefits from an even
wider Æ’/1.62 aperture and a
Light Fusion 900 image sensor
boasting
13.5 EV dynamic range,
giving it an edge in low-light scenarios. The Xiaomi 15T, meanwhile,
retains strong imaging chops with a Leica Summilux Æ’/1.7 lens and Light
Fusion 800 sensor.
For selfies and video calls, both phones come with a
32MP front camera,
while Xiaomi AISP 2.0—the company’s latest computational photography
platform—adds enhancements like
PortraitLM 2.0 and
ColorLM 2.0. These
upgrades sharpen details, boost tonal accuracy, and ensure colors look
true-to-life without the need for heavy editing.
Creators will love the
Master Portrait mode,
which introduces new bokeh styles such as Wide and Bubbles, along with
adjustable aperture effects. On the videography side, the series supports
4K HDR10+ recording across all lenses, while the Pro brings in
4K 120fps slow motion
and even
8K video capture,
delivering cinema-grade footage straight from a smartphone.
Connectivity Without Boundaries
Photography isn’t the only breakthrough here. Xiaomi also introduced
Astral Communication, a
forward-looking suite of connectivity technologies. The highlight is
Xiaomi Offline Communication, which lets users make direct device-to-device calls even without Wi-Fi
or mobile data—up to
1.9km on the Pro and
1.3km on the standard model. For outdoor adventurers and remote explorers, this feature is a
potential lifesaver.
Backing this up is the
Xiaomi Surge T1S Tuner,
which intelligently manages GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile signals to
ensure optimal connections. Paired with a
Super Antenna Array and
AI Smart Antenna Switching, the system promises stable performance whether you’re streaming,
gaming, or navigating tricky terrain.
On the software front, the Xiaomi 15T Series debuts
HyperOS 3, bringing
refreshed UI design, faster app launches, and deeper interconnectivity
across devices. Enhanced by
Xiaomi HyperAI, the
system promises smarter multitasking and smoother everyday use.
Bigger, Brighter, More Immersive Displays
Both models feature a
6.83-inch AMOLED display
with
1.5K resolution and a
peak brightness of
3200 nits. This makes
them perfect for outdoor use, ensuring legibility even under harsh
sunlight.
The Xiaomi 15T supports up to
120Hz refresh rate and
3840Hz PWM dimming,
designed for smoother interactions and reduced eye strain. The Pro,
however, raises the bar with an even faster
144Hz refresh rate and
ultra-slim
1.5mm bezels made
possible by
LIPO technology. These
bezels are 27% thinner than before, creating an immersive edge-to-edge
experience without making the phone bigger.
For extended usage, both devices integrate TÜV Rheinland certifications
for eye comfort, low blue light, and flicker-free performance.
Power, Performance, and Longevity
Driving the Xiaomi 15T Series are MediaTek’s latest processors. The
Xiaomi 15T Pro runs on the Dimensity 9400+, a 3nm powerhouse that offers significant boosts in both CPU and GPU
speeds. The
Xiaomi 15T is powered by the Dimensity 8400-Ultra, also strong and efficient, built on a 4nm process.
Both devices pack a
5500mAh battery, but
charging speeds differ. The
15T Pro supports 90W wired HyperCharge and 50W wireless
charging, while the
15T supports 67W wired charging. Xiaomi claims the batteries retain
80% of their capacity even after 1600 charging cycles, ensuring longevity.
To keep things cool, Xiaomi introduces the
3D IceLoop cooling system, which separates vapor and liquid for faster heat dissipation. This
helps maintain sustained performance during gaming, streaming, or long
video shoots.
Flagship Build and Design
Xiaomi has wrapped all these internals in a
refined, durable exterior. Both phones feature a unified glass fiber back,
IP68 water and dust resistance, and
Corning Gorilla Glass 7i
for better scratch resistance.
The Pro model distinguishes itself with a frame made from
6M13 aluminum alloy,
enhancing durability. Color options vary too:
-
Xiaomi 15T Pro: Black, Gray, Mocha Gold
-
Xiaomi 15T: Black, Gray, Rose Gold
Each finish caters to different personalities—whether you’re after luxury,
subtlety, or bold expression.
Price and Availability
-
Xiaomi 15T Pro starts at €799 and comes in multiple storage options, up to 1TB.
-
Xiaomi 15T starts at €649, with up to 512GB storage.
Global rollouts will follow soon after the Munich event, with local
pricing to be announced depending on region.

Xiaomi 15T Series, the
brand proves it continues to innovate instead of just releasing fresh
