The all-wheel drive bZ4X runs on a 73.11 kWh Lithium-ion battery paired with dual motors that produce a front output of 227 PS and a rear output of 120 PS. Torque figures stand at 269 Nm in front and 170 Nm in the rear. On a full charge, it can deliver up to 570 km of EV range based on UN Regulations 101, although actual numbers will still depend on driving style and road conditions.

Eco and X-Mode driving selections give users flexibility whether they're maximizing efficiency or navigating trickier terrain. The model’s 200 mm ground clearance also makes it better suited for Philippine roads compared to lower-slung EVs in the market.

The digital experience is anchored by a 7-inch Digital Meter Cluster and a Multi-Information Display, supported by a large 14-inch Display Audio touchscreen loaded with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Dual wireless charging ports help declutter the front area, while USB Type C ports in both rows ensure everyone stays powered up.

Safety remains a priority, with the latest Toyota Safety Sense suite standard on the bZ4X. Features include Pre-Collision System, Automatic High Beam, Adaptive High Beam System, Lane Tracing Assist, Lane Departure Alert, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. One new owner shared, “A lot of my friends are getting electric and hybrid cars. I saw the advantages since I spend so much on fuel. I commute daily from Quezon City to Caloocan City, and even Nuvali three times a week. In Nuvali there are a lot of charging stations and during the weekdays most of them are available, so I don’t feel any range anxiety.”

Another added long-term confidence as a deciding factor, saying, “It’s hard to bet on new players in the market. I’ve been a Toyota owner since the ‘80s, so I’m confident with their service and parts. When we get a car, my family doesn’t re-sell, so for sure the bZ4X will be with us for the long run.”
