Cherry Mobile Flare J1 Plus Price is Php 2,499 : Budget Android Marshmallow Smartphone

First off, I want to extend my gratitude to TP Friend Charles Quiachon for sending me these exclusive photos of the new Cherry Mobile Flare J1 Plus that he spotted in a CM Kiosk while walking around SM North EDSA Annex earlier this afternoon.

He told me, "I want you to be the first to get these shots, Sir Mark! Please share them with your readers."

You're the best, Charles!

Cherry Mobile J1 Plus

Donning an official suggested retail price of only Php 2,499, the quietly released Cherry Mobile Flare J1 Plus has just become the most affordable Android Marshmallow powered handset in the company's 2016 product catalogue.

As I've shared, being the most updated version of Google's mobile OS, Marshmallow offers users several neat enhancements to the platform including a more fluid and organized user interface as well as better energy-efficiency resulting in extended uptime.

Cherry Mobile J1 Plus

This is the only CM Flare J1 Plus photo that Charles sent me and just from looking at it, it appears that the handset flaunts a very simple and straight forward design language reminiscent of Flare Lite 2. No frills, nothing fancy.

Nonetheless, for a smartphone having such a meager price tag, its specs are quite interesting and rather decent. The model sports a 5-inch FWGVA display panel underneath capacitive glass touchscreen, an 8 MegaPixel autofocus rear camera, 2 MP selfie cam in front, HD video recorder, 3G HSPA+ support, Dual SIM Dual Standby capability, and a 2,000 mAh battery pack.

At its heart, it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor (either from MediaTek or Spreadtrum, I guess; Let me get back to you on that), has 1GB of RAM, and comes with 8GB of internal storage that you can easily expand via microSD card slot.

Cherry Mobile Flare J1 Plus has just become available at all Cherry Mobile Concept Stores, Kiosks, and authorized retail outlets across the archipelago.

If you're looking for an Android smartphone that's easy on the budget but already runs the latest version of Android that's available to consumers, you want to check this one out. Visit a CM shop and see it's the right handset for you.
