CloudFone Thrill Boost Sells for Only Php 2,299 and Has A Metal Back Cover

CloudFone is truly on a roll these days.

Following the success of their affordable 'Thrill' Android smartphones earlier this year, the Pinoy handset maker is further beefing up the line by launching another wallet-friendly handset under it.

Donning an SRP of only Php 2,299, CloudFone Thrill Boost presents a great opportunity for budget-conscious feature phone owners to finally upgrade to their first Android smartphone -- and a decent one at that, considering its price.

Looking at the device and checking the smartphone's specs-sheet, it's obvious that CloudFone made sure that Thrill Boost would offer consumers great value for their money.

Design-wise, what's great about this affordable model is that it already flaunts a removable real metal back plate. This element doesn't only make the device look more expensive than it actually is but also makes it more durable and resilient against the knocks and bumps of daily use.

As for specs, the handset sports a 5.2-inch FWVGA 854 x 480 pixels display, 5 MegaPixel main camera with LED flash, VGA front cam, Dual SIM Dual Standby capability, 3G HSPA+ support, and a swappable 2,000 mAh battery pack.

Now, as for internal hardware, the Thrill Boost runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS (including pre-installed apps from CloudFone) with a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor (possibly MediaTek MT6580, TBC), has 1GB of RAM for multitasking, and comes with a sizable 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded using the microSD card slot.

CloudFone Thrill Boost is not the most good-looking handset out there and it's also not the most powerful smartphone from the company. But for Php 2,299, I think it already gives great bang for the buck and as such, it is definitely worth checking out.

Great job, CloudFone!
