Apple TV Commercial Think Different - Here's to the Crazy Ones - Classic Tech TVC

TechPinas Featured Video of the Day presents:
Apple's Award-Winning 'Think Different' TVC from 1997

The TVC was conceptualized for Apple Computers by Los Angeles based advertising agency TBWA\Chiat\Day as part of Apple's 'Think Different' thematic campaign. The full 1-minute version of the commercial features outstanding personalities in human history who thought differently in their respective fields and in effect, changed history. These personalities include: Albert Einstein, Bob Dylan, Martin Luther King, Jr., Richard Branson, John Lennon, R. Buckminster Fuller, Thomas Edison, Muhammad Ali, Ted Turner, Maria Callas, Mahatma Gandhi, Amelia Earhart, Alfred Hitchcock, Martha Graham, Jim Henson, Frank Lloyd Wright and Pablo Picasso (in order of appearance). The video wraps up with a close-up shot of a young american girl, Shaan Sahota, opening her eyes to the possibilities before her.

Here's the advertising copy of the full TVC (and legend has it that Steve Jobs, Apple CEO, wrote this himself):

The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They’re not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.

Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world, are the ones who do.

*Thumbs up*
