"Mark, Kimstore is starting 2015 strong by bringing in many of the world's most critically-acclaimed and commercially successful gadgets to the Philippines - one of which is the Moto 360 - at the lowest prices that are available in the market," my friend Kim Lato told me in our meeting a couple of weeks ago.

So what's so special about the Moto 360?

According to Motorola, "The wristwatch has been through several evolutions since it first became a popular fashion accessory more than a 100 years ago. From mechanical to electronic movements, analog to digital faces, the wristwatch has been reinvented several times over, but the basic design has endured for a century because of its elegance and usefulness ‘at a glance.’ Our vision for Moto 360 was to celebrate that history as we reimagined the wristwatch for the future."

Moto 360’s iconic design (featuring premium materials - including its stainless steel case and genuine Horween leather strap from American crafters) feels comfortable and familiar on your wrist. It’s everything you need, with a look that you want. And it's also IP67 Certified water-resistant so you can take it with you even in your most extreme adventures.

Running Google's Android Wear OS, Moto 360 responds to your voice. Just say “Ok Google” to ask questions like who won in the most recent Ateneo versus La Salle volleyball game or what time your flight leaves, or to get stuff done like scheduling an appointment, sending a text, setting an alarm or taking a note. And what's cool is that the number of applications for the Android Wear platform is growing steadily in the Google Play Store.

"Moto 360 keeps you on time and up to date without taking you out of the moment or distracting you, telling you what you need to know before you know you need it through subtle alerts and notifications. With just a twist of the wrist you can see who’s emailing or calling, what time your next meeting is or a friend’s latest social post," Motorola added.

Moto 360 is powered by a 320 mAh battery pack that delivers around a whole day of uptime with mixed usage and supports wireless charging via the dock included in the package. Others features include a pedometer sensor, optical heart rate monitor, dual microphones, vibration motor, and a single physical button acting as home button.
