President Benigno Aquino III is set to deliver his sixth and final State of the Nation Address today - July 27, 2014 - at exactly 4 o'clock in the afternoon before Congress at the House of Representatives in Quezon City.

The executive office - specifically RTVMalacanang - will be broadcasting SONA 2015 live via Youtube, allowing Filipinos all over the world hear the President's message first hand. Watch the official livestream here ~

On April 8, 2011, Google launched YouTube Live, which integrates livestreaming capabilities and discovery tools directly into the YouTube platform for the first time. The YouTube Live browse page where you can always find the most compelling live events happening on YouTube was also launched on that date.

RTVM - the agency behind the SONA2015 broadcast - was organized in 1986 following the peaceful EDSA revolt. Before 1986, the organization that existed was Radio-Television-Movies, and adjunct of the National Media Production Center which was based in MalacaƱang. Aquino, creating the Office of the Press Secretary and cites under Section 14 (attached agencies) the creation of the Presidential Broadcast Staff – RadioTelevision MalacaƱang.
