Sample Selfies Taken Using Vivo V5's 20 MegaPixel Front Camera

Vivo V5 - which will be hitting store shelves nationwide starting on November 26, 2016 - is the first ever smartphone to have a 20 MegaPixel front-facing camera that supposedly allows it to take 'perfect selfies'.

Considering that the Philippines is widely recognized as the Selfie Capital of the World, it's really no wonder that many of my readers are now becoming more and more curious about both the brand and the device. In fact, they are now asking me to post sample selfies that I've taken using Vivo V5.

Good thing I was able to snap a few 20MP selfies using the smartphone during its official launch held at the Solaire Grand Ballroom last November 23, 2016 -- so at least, I have these to share with you (click thumbnail for larger view):

I took all of my photos at the very well-lit product experience area so I didn't have to use the front-facing Softlight LED flash that's located above the phone's screen.

Off hand, what I like about Vivo V5's front cam is the amount of detail that it captures. For instance, notice how the individual strands of my eyebrows can be clearly seen in each shot.

At only 50% Beautification Mode, the 20MP front shooter did a great job at evening out my skin-tone and making my eye-bags look less prominent. I'm quite impressed, actually.

TP Intern from DLSU-M, Aaron Gripal also took a selfie using the Vivo V5 with the help of a friend from the company.

Vivo V5's 13 MegaPixel shooter at the back with LED flash and phase detection autofocus also performs rather decently. Here are sample shots; Let me know what you think about them.

Upon launch, Vivo V5 will don an official suggested retail price of Php 12,990.
