Meet Samsung PH's Celebrity Endorsers: Enrique Gil, Liza Soberano, and Yassi Pressman

Perhaps feeling pressure from its rivals OPPO and Vivo that both have hoards of celebrity endorsers here in the Philippines (or perhaps not), Korean Giant Samsung Mobile continues to beef up the list of popular Pinoy TV personalities who promote their devices.

On February 13, 2017, Kapamilya star Enrique Gil was officially launched as the latest face of Samsung Mobile though an intimate media event and fan meet-up. With the announcement, the actor finally joined his on-screen partner, Liza Soberano, as an active endorser of the brand.

To quote the company, "Samsung is [...] proud to introduce the newest face that is set to represent the Galaxy J2 Pro, Enrique Gil! In the midst of all the things that Enrique’s been up to, this film buff and gamer can now make his quick escapes even sweeter with the Galaxy J2 Pro allowing him to watch all the videos and play all the games I want in full clarity."

So I guess having both Enrique and Liza as endorsers will give Samsung more flexibility in creating promotional materials for their upcoming handsets.

On January 18, 2018, the Korean company unveiled Kapamilya leading lady Yassi Pressman as the face of the selfie-centric high-end Android smartphones, Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+.

"With her impeccable hunger for adventure, paired with her determination to elevate her experiences this 2018, Yassi proves to be the ideal embodiment of the Galaxy A8 and A8+’s personality and character," shares Samsung Philippines.

Note that of all three Samsung Celebrity endorsers, Liza Soberano is the one who's been helping promote the brand since 2016; To be specific, her first tech-related TVC was for Samsung Galaxy J2 DTV during that year. Enrique Gil used the endorse the handsets of Proudly Pinoy tech company CloudFone while Yassi Pressman was the face of Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom, which was released in 2017.
