Huawei Nova 2 Lite Philippines Price is Php 9,990 : Pre-Order and Get Free JBL Bluetooth Headphones

The official suggested retail price of the much-awaited Huawei Nova 2 Lite has just been announced by the Chinese tech giant.

Earlier today - March 12, 2018, I received a message from our friends at the company confirming that this gorgeous midrange model will sell for just Php 9,990, which is a lot less that what many of us had projected.

And what's amazing is that, those who will pre-order this model on or before March 14, 2018 will even get a free JBL Bluetooth Headphones when they pick up their device at any participating Huawei Experience Store or partner retailer nationwide. (Kindly visit Huawei Philippines' Official Facebook Page for more details regarding this.)

Php 12,000 was my initial price guesstimate for this model so I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Huawei had decided to go for a much lower official SRP for the Nova 2 Lite.

Having a Php 9,990 price tag will put this good Android smartphone at arm's reach of more Pinoys and since I'm always on the side of consumers, this is music to my ears.

Also, by giving this model a surprisingly low SRP, Huawei has effectively made itself a more formidable contender in the midrange price bracket. If - in the future - the brand will show consistency in competitive mid-level pricing, other brands that are currently winning in this echelon will certainly have to level-up their game.

For those who are seeing this handset for the first time, Huawei Nova 2 Lite was previewed by the company via an R&R Trip with tech bloggers and members of the media in Bohol last February 26, 2018.

Featuring a sleek albeit predominantly plastic shell and a tall 18:9 5.99-inch HD+ IPS display, this model is the more budget-friendly and less powerful version of the legitimate best-seller, Huawei Nova 2i released in the Philippines in October 2017.

The key features of this smartphone include its EMUI-skinned Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, 13MP + 2MP Dual Rear Camera Set-up (with Depth of Field Effect), 8 MegaPixel front cam for selfies with Soft LED flash and Beauty Mode, the non-removable 3,000 mAh Li-Ion battery pack, and the energy-efficient Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor.

Huawei Nova 2 Lite will be out in a number of colors but my favorite is the Blue version, which I obviously have here.

Off hand, I'd say that the strongest selling points of this device would have to be its competitive SRP, stunning design language, reliable Selfie camera, and fairly long battery life. I think it would be a great choice of daily driver for students and young professionals who are very active in social media.
