Apple iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max Philippines Price and Release Date Guesstimate, Specs, Features
Earlier, I showed you the all-new Apple iPhone 11, which was officially unveiled by the Cupertino company just a few hours ago.
I described that fresh device as "very interesting" -- and rightfully so. It's the most powerful iPhone so far and it also has incredible imaging capabilities with its Dual Rear Camera module that incorporates an ultra-wide-angle shooter.
Now, let me present the two other new iPhone models that Apple announced alongside the iPhone 11. Both of these are more expensive than the base model - which is terrible - but at least, they come with better specs in some areas, namely, display type and resolution, number of cameras, as well as amount of RAM.
The Apple iPhone 11 Pro which features a 5.8-inch 2436 x 1125 OLED Super Retina XDR Display is the smaller of the two.
On the other hand, Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max is the more sizable device with a 6.5-inch 2688 x 1242 resolution screen of the same type.
Not only are the displays of these models more pixel dense than that of the Apple iPhone 11 but they are also more brilliant, brighter, and more energy-efficient. These are actually the main advantages of OLED over IPS.

Whereas Apple iPhone 11 has two 12 MegaPixel cameras the back with wide and ultra-wide-angle lenses, the Apple iPhone 11 Pro and Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max have those two as well but they come with an additional 12 MegaPixel telephoto shooter.
This extra camera makes the Apple iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max more flexible than the base Apple iPhone 11 as they let you zoom in twice on the subject without physically moving close to it on top of being able to zoom out twice.
The revamped Camera application lets you utilize all three shooters with ease whether you are just trying to snap photos or when you're recording 4K videos up to 60 frames per second.
Designed even for professional video production, the cameras of Apple iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max can also work with popular applications like FiLMiC Pro, which allows you to tweak manual controls meticulously to achieve your desired results.
Like the Apple iPhone 11, the 12MP front cam of both Apple iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max can also shoot 4K videos at up to 60 frames per second, which is the highest frame rate you can get from a selfie shooter currently.
If you're a vlogger who just likes using your smartphone's front-facing camera to document your activities or adventures, you might appreciate that feature of these new iPhones. I saw sample clips during the Apple Event keynote and they were downright amazing.
If there's one area where Apple iPhones are expected to excel compared to their direct competitors, it would have to be in terms of raw power and gaming performance. The Cupertino company always gets this right.

I believe this low-power design of the processor is what enabled the longer uptime of the Apple iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max compared to their direct predecessors from 2018, the Apple iPhone XS and XS Max, respectively.
Despite this, however, I still wish that Apple would put bigger battery packs in their future iPhones. Frankly, they are severely lagging behind other big brands in this department. Sure, having an energy-efficient chipset and platform is great but matched with a large capacity battery, future iPhones can also be big winners in terms of uptime.
When it comes to looks, I'd say the Apple iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max has a more corporate appeal compared to the base Apple iPhone 11.
The frosted glass finish along with neutral earth tones, including Space Gray and Midnight Green, give these two models a more premium aesthetic plus as an air of understated elegance.
Built to be your content creation companion even on extreme adventures, both Apple iPhone 11 Pro and Pro are IP68 Certified Dust and Water Resistant, which means that it is protected against water ingress when submerged in up to 4 meters of fresh water for up to 30 minutes. On top of that, these devices' exterior also feature the toughest glass ever put on a smartphone so you can expect them to be quite durable.
Now, let's talk about pricing.
Apple iPhone 11 Pro is the more "affordable" device of the two, coming in at "just" $999 USD for the 64GB variant. There's also a 256GB version that goes for $1149 USD while the 512GB model dons a price tag of $1349 USD.
On the other hand, Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max's price starts at $1099 USD for the 64GB version. The 256GB variant has a price tag of $1249 USD and the 512GB model, which is the most expensive Apple iPhone of 2019, sells for $1449 USD.
How about local prices? Well, Apple's official network partners in the Philippines - Smart Communications and Globe Telecom have yet to formally disclose their postpaid plans for these new Apple handsets. Likewise, the Cupertino company's authorized retailers in PH, including Beyond the Box and Power Mac Center, haven't released their official price schedule.
Last year, the Apple iPhone XS and XS Max were officially released in our country around the last week of October.
