  • Visayas Champion: Cebu-based Webmasters Esports outlasted 63 other teams and delivered a 2-0 victory in the best-of-three regional finals, securing the Visayas championship and a place in the RMC Season 10 grand finals.
  • Regional Battles: The competition continues with the Luzon Regionals on August 29 at SM City San Lazaro and the Mindanao Regionals on September 6 at SM Lanang Premier, with 64 teams expected to compete in each leg.
  • Big Rewards: RMC Season 10 features a PHP 1 million prize pool, with the eventual champion taking home PHP 250,000 in cash plus PHP 125,000 worth of realme products, while other top teams and the season MVP will also receive prizes.

The battle for mobile esports supremacy is heating up as realme Mobile Cup (RMC) Season 10 officially crowns its Visayas regional champion. Cebu-based Webmasters Esports (WE) emerged on top following the Cebu Regionals held over the weekend at SM Seaside City Cebu, earning the right to represent the region in the Season 10 grand finals.

Co-presented by SM Cyberzone, RMC Season 10 is bringing the competition to different parts of the Philippines as teams fight for regional supremacy and a coveted place in the championship round. With Visayas now decided, attention shifts to the upcoming Luzon and Mindanao legs to determine the remaining grand finalists.

Webmasters Esports Takes the Visayas Crown

Competition in Cebu was packed, with Webmasters Esports going up against a field that included 63 other teams seeking the regional championship.

WE ultimately made its way to the best-of-three finals, where the Cebu-based squad delivered a convincing performance. Webmasters Esports secured a 2-0 victory to claim the Visayas regional championship and become the first team confirmed for the RMC Season 10 grand finals.

The victory puts WE one major step closer to the overall Season 10 crown. Its next challenge, however, will come from the champions of the Luzon and Mindanao regional legs, which have yet to be decided.

For Filipino mobile esports followers, that gives the upcoming regional tournaments even more weight. Every succeeding leg will not only crown a regional champion but also reveal another team that Webmasters Esports will eventually have to face on the biggest stage of the season.

Luzon Regionals Coming August 29

Next on the RMC Season 10 calendar is the Luzon Regionals, scheduled for August 29 at SM City San Lazaro.

Like the Cebu leg, the Luzon competition will bring together 64 teams battling for the regional championship and a spot in the Season 10 grand finals. That makes it another crucial stage of the tournament, particularly for teams hoping to represent Luzon in the championship showdown.

With Webmasters Esports already waiting in the grand finals, the Luzon champion will become the second regional winner to secure its place in the concluding battle.

Mindanao Battle Set for September 6

After Luzon, RMC Season 10 will head south for the Mindanao Regionals on September 6 at SM Lanang Premier.

Another 64 teams are expected to compete for the Mindanao regional championship and the remaining place in the grand finals. Once the Mindanao leg concludes, the regional picture will finally be complete, setting up the showdown among the champions from Visayas, Luzon, and Mindanao.

The regional format gives competitors from different parts of the country their own opportunity to earn their place in the finals. Cebu has already produced its champion, while Luzon and Mindanao are now preparing to determine who will join Webmasters Esports in the fight for the Season 10 crown.

PHP 1 Million Prize Pool

Beyond regional pride and the championship title, there is plenty at stake for the teams competing in RMC Season 10.

The tournament features a PHP 1 million prize pool, with the eventual RMC Season 10 champion set to receive PHP 250,000 in cash together with PHP 125,000 worth of realme products.

Other top-performing teams will also receive cash prizes and realme smartphones, giving competitors more incentives as they advance through the tournament. The season's Most Valuable Player will likewise take home exclusive realme prizes.

These rewards raise the stakes as RMC Season 10 moves closer to its grand finals. With dozens of teams competing in each regional leg, reaching the championship stage already requires surviving a highly competitive field.

All Eyes on Luzon and Mindanao

Webmasters Esports has done its part, putting Cebu and the Visayas firmly on the RMC Season 10 grand finals map. Its 2-0 finals victory gives the team regional bragging rights, but the bigger challenge is still ahead as it waits to discover its opponents.

On August 29, attention turns to SM City San Lazaro for the Luzon Regionals. Then on September 6, the action moves to SM Lanang Premier for the Mindanao Regionals.

With 64 teams competing in each upcoming regional leg, two more champions still have to rise before the grand finals picture is complete. For now, Webmasters Esports has secured its seat at the table, and the race is on to determine which Luzon and Mindanao squads will join it in the battle for the RMC Season 10 crown.
