Foldable smartphones continue to push toward thinner, lighter, and more powerful designs, and HONOR Magic V6 is arriving in the Philippines with an ambitious combination of all three. HONOR's newest flagship foldable is now officially up for pre-order at PHP 119,999, with early buyers getting an HONOR Pad X8b worth PHP 12,999 for free.
The pre-order period runs from August 25 to September 4, 2026, giving interested buyers several days to secure the device before claiming it on September 5.
Stephen Cheng, Vice President of HONOR Philippines, said, “The future of foldable technology is about pushing boundaries without asking users to compromise.”
“With the HONOR Magic V6, we set out to deliver a foldable experience that brings together a refined design and dependable durability.”
Ultra-Slim Yet Built for Durability
One of the most immediately noticeable characteristics of the Magic V6 is its thin profile. The white version measures just 8.75mm when folded and 4.0mm when unfolded, while its weight comes in at around 219g.
Those numbers bring the device closer to the in-hand feel of a traditional slab smartphone while retaining the versatility of a large foldable screen.
HONOR pairs that slim construction with its Super Steel Hinge, which has an industry-leading tensile strength of 2,800 MPa. An AI-assisted bionic cushioning system developed through thousands of simulations is designed to absorb impact and distribute force during accidental drops and everyday use.
The inner display uses UTG flexible glass for a near-zero crease visual experience, while the outer screen gets HONOR Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield. Its silicon nitride coating features up to 5,600 layers for improved durability and wear resistance while reducing reflectivity.
Adding another layer of protection, the Magic V6 carries IP68 and IP69 ratings under IEC 60529 standards for resistance against water, dust, and high-pressure sprays.
Two Bright Foldable Displays
The Magic V6 features a 6.52-inch outer display alongside a spacious 7.95-inch inner foldable display. Both panels support adaptive refresh rates ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz.
Peak brightness reaches 6,000 nits on the outer screen and 5,000 nits on the inner display. HONOR also cites ultra-low reflectivity of 1.5%, helping maintain visibility under direct sunlight.
For longer viewing sessions, both displays incorporate eye-comfort technologies including 4320Hz PWM dimming. This combination of high brightness, adaptive refresh rates, and eye-comfort features should make the screens suitable for everything from everyday communication to productivity and entertainment.
6,660mAh Battery Meets Snapdragon Power
Battery capacity is another major highlight. HONOR equips the Magic V6 with a 6,660mAh Silicon-carbon Battery, which the company describes as the largest battery ever used in a foldable smartphone.
The battery contains roughly 25% silicon and delivers an energy density of 921Wh/L, allowing HONOR to fit the high capacity into the device without dramatically increasing its thickness.
Under the hood is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform based on an advanced 3nm process, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
A full-stack Vulkan graphics engine further enhances performance, with HONOR saying the device can support 120 FPS in demanding mainstream titles on its large inner screen.
Charging support includes 80W Wired HONOR SuperCharge and 66W Wireless HONOR SuperCharge, plus Wireless Reverse Charging. The HONOR E2 Power Enhanced Chip and advanced RF enhancements are also designed to improve power efficiency and connectivity.
AI Falcon Camera System
For photography, the Magic V6 carries the HONOR AI Falcon Camera System headlined by a 50MP Ultra Light Sensitive Main Camera.
It is joined by a 64MP Ultra Sensing Periscope Telephoto Camera featuring a 1/2-inch sensor and CIPA 6.5-stop image stabilization, plus a 50MP Ultra-Wide Camera.
HONOR complements the camera hardware with AI-powered features including AI Color Engine, Magic Color 2.0, Magic Video Color, and AI Image to Video 2.0. These tools focus on capabilities such as real-time optimization, cinematic color grading, and intelligent posing guidance.
MagicOS 10 and Foldable Productivity
Running the experience is MagicOS 10, which brings a collection of HONOR AI Agents including AI Settings Agent, AI Photos Agent, AI Suggestion, and AI Screen Suggestions.
These features provide assistance across content creation, meetings, intent recognition, and contextual actions displayed on the screen.
HONOR is also taking advantage of the folding form factor through Fast Flex. A folding motion can activate dual split-screen mode, while PC-level Multi-Flex enables three simultaneous apps and can handle files larger than 1GB.
The company describes the resulting experience as putting an ultrawide monitor in your pocket, supported by its Vulkan graphics engine and desktop-grade architecture.
Connecting Beyond the HONOR Ecosystem
HONOR is also positioning the Magic V6 as a device that can work across different ecosystems.
Through HONOR Share, it can connect with iPhone, Mac, AirPods, and Apple Watch for features including one-tap file transfers, notification sharing, and dual-screen Mac workflows.
The Magic V6 also supports Quick Share for app-free file transfers between Android and compatible Apple devices, giving users additional flexibility when sharing content across platforms.
HONOR Magic V6 with Google Gemini
Google Gemini further expands the Magic V6's AI capabilities, letting users interact through text, voice, or images. Users can share their camera or screen during Gemini Live conversations to ask questions about what they are seeing.
Gemini Live can also help users work through schedules, manage to-do lists, and take action using connected apps.
The Magic V6 includes a three-month Google AI Pro trial at no additional cost. This provides higher access to Gemini features, including Veo 3.1-powered video generation, Nano Banana Pro image generation, AI filmmaking tool Flow, research assistant NotebookLM, and 5TB of cloud storage.
